Our vision: A vibrant working environment
The decision to integrate plants into our office spaces is based on the desire to create not only a visually appealing but also a conducive workplace. Studies have shown that indoor plants improve the indoor climate by reducing CO₂ and increasing humidity. We all learned that at school - it's photosynthesis, isn't it? Sounds kind of familiar!
Together with the experts from "Oxygen at Work", who specialize in sustainable and scientifically sound planting concepts, we at Raptus are creating a workplace that is inspiring, healthy and green.
More than decoration: the benefits of plants
Plants in offices are no surprise, but the positive effects are often underestimated. Scientific studies show that the presence of plants can reduce feelings of stress and increase creativity. Not only do they help to purify the air, but they also have a calming effect on our nervous system. In fact, improved air quality can increase productivity by up to 15% and reduce absenteeism due to illness - a win-win for everyone!
Another interesting detail: plants not only release oxygen during the day, but some species, such as the snake plant (Sansevieria), even do this at night. In this way, they improve the indoor climate around the clock and create a vitalizing environment. These effects fit in perfectly with our philosophy: we believe that a healthy mind can only thrive in a healthy environment. Our plants are therefore much more than beautiful ornaments - they are part of our strategy for a people-friendly and modern working culture.
Joint project: Working together for a better climate
The implementation of the plant concept was a real joint project. The gardeners from "Oxygen at Work" selected the right plants for us and carefully planned how they would best come into their own in the rooms. The result: green zones that are not only relaxing retreats, but also promote teamwork. Involving all employees also means that the green concept is truly supported by everyone. This creates a greater awareness of office nature and makes caring for the plants a shared responsibility.
Sustainability as part of our work culture
The green initiative demonstrates our long-term commitment to sustainability and the well-being of our team. A green office not only means a more pleasant working environment, but also contributes to the environment - because every plant helps to reduce our carbon footprint. For Raptus, this is no small thing, but an important step in living up to our responsibility.
Our work stands for digitalization with a human touch - a concept that we also want to transfer to our working environment. A modern workplace needs more than just the latest technology; it also needs the right ambience. We are excited to see how our new indoor climate will inspire us in the future and what creative ideas will emerge in the midst of this green oasis.
Fun Facts: Did you already know?
- Looking at plants can significantly reduce stress levels after just 5 minutes. And that without doing much.
- Did you know that plants are also social creatures? Some plants communicate with each other via scents to warn each other of pests!
- Some people talk to their plants - and studies suggest that this actually promotes growth. Perhaps this is because plants also need a few kind words from time to time.
