Modernization and digitalization of the IT infrastructure
The main aim of this project was to modernize Thymos AG's IT infrastructure and drive forward digitalization within the company. A modern workplace was to be created that would enable employees to access the systems from anywhere. The new IT infrastructure was to be implemented in parallel with the introduction of a new ERP solution in order to create a scalable basis for future growth.
Microsoft Cloud as the basis for transformation
The implementation of the project was based on the Microsoft Cloud solution. First, the existing infrastructure was analyzed and expectations were recorded. The requirements and objectives were defined together with Thymos. The old infrastructure was gradually replaced and installed in parallel with the new one. Access for ERP partners to both infrastructures was ensured in order to make the transition as seamless as possible. Conversions were carried out outside of business hours to minimize interruptions for the customer. Extensive testing and quality assurance was carried out with Thymos to ensure that everything was ready for the ERP implementation. In addition, employees were trained to ensure centralized working on the Microsoft Cloud Desktop.
