More donations through content strategy and headless CMS

Rokpa is an international NGO active in 16 countries. To reach younger donors in an increasingly digital world, Rokpa needed an effective e-fundraising strategy.

Toreach younger donors in an increasingly digital world, Rokpa needed an effective e-fundraising strategy. The biggest challenge was to use digital channels in a targeted and efficient manner. Raptus supported Rokpa with a tailor-made strategy and the right tools to increase its reach and strengthen the digital donation process in the long term.

Rethinking content strategy: collaboration with heart and mind

Together with Rokpa, we carried out an analysis of the target groups, internal resources and tools. The findings enabled us to develop a content strategy tailored to Rokpa's target groups and opportunities.

Regularly published reports are linked to Rokpa's focus areas and projects through the content strategy. This creates a natural flow of information that constantly generates new donation transactions.

Consistent and scalable design system

With the clear content strategy in focus, we began the visual design, translating Rokpa's existing corporate design into a modern design system. Rokpa actively participated in this process and provided constructive feedback. Colors, fonts, icons and layouts were optimized for different screen sizes. A prototype allowed all stakeholders to get involved and give structured feedback, which further refined the design.

Headless - Ultra-fast and future-proof

After a thorough evaluation of various CMS options, Rokpa opted for Directus. This SaaS CMS not only offers high IT security and speed, but is also scalable in the long term. Raptus prepared the CMS so that Rokpa could capture content early on, with all data perfectly structured to ensure efficient website maintenance. At the same time, we developed a scalable front-end design and integrated Payrexx for e-fundraising. We took care of both the technical implementation and administrative support so that all donations were processed and allocated correctly.
