When stability becomes the foundation for success

Tomeet the increasing demands for operational reliability and efficiency, Korff worked with Raptus to analyze the existing IT infrastructure.

The goal was to modernize the system landscape, increase security for end devices and users, and significantly improve efficiency in everyday work through a more powerful Internet connection.

The plan for transformation

Together with Mr. Erb, the requirements were specified and initial solution ideas were developed. Microsoft Intune was used to strengthen IT security and automate software management. Instead of a shared server, a VDI infrastructure was chosen to better isolate user access.

The introduction of a high-performance 10 GB Internet connection was also taken into account. The migration was planned in detail to ensure transparency and a smooth process. The coordination with third-party providers, such as ERP partners and electricians, relieved Korff AG during the implementation.

The cloud and new hardware are to be integrated step by step without affecting ongoing operations.

Day of Migration / Truth 🚀

‍Onthe day of the migration, the clear objectives and tasks were implemented according to plan. After an intensive working day that lasted until midnight, the new Zero-Trust Modern Workplace was ready for use.

The network was secured by a next-generation firewall. This monitors and controls actors, services and the content of network traffic to provide comprehensive protection.

  • The company devices were integrated into the Microsoft Cloud to ensure efficient management and security.
  • Security and productivity measures optimized the end devices.
  • An automatic classification between secure and insecure devices has been set up to further minimize risks.
  • Access to cloud resources is strictly controlled to guarantee maximum security.

E-mail security

‍Emailtraffic was protected by the use of Hornet Security. This solution offers multi-layered protection against phishing, malware, spam and other fraudulent activities.

Device protection with modern EDR solution

‍Anadvanced endpoint detection and response (EDR) solution has been implemented. This automatically intervenes in the event of attacks, e.g. by isolating affected devices to prevent the spread of threats.

Direct expert analysis of security incidents

‍Securityincidents are analyzed directly by specialists from the EDR manufacturer. As a result, quick and efficient countermeasures were taken and the security of the customer network was increased in the long term.
